One organization-level license, with annual maintenance tied to usage.
Platform
Desktop software inside Bentley MicroStation
Access
One company license, available across your workstations
Billing
Annual maintenance based on tracked user-days
Each level includes lifetime organization-wide access, unlimited workstation deployment, the full TopoDOT feature set, and TopoShare Basic. Higher levels cost more upfront and reduce the user-day rate used for annual maintenance.
Best for smaller teams or lighter usage
Best for growing production teams
Best for high-volume production teams
Use the calculator to compare license levels based on your expected number of workstations and days of use. The calculator helps show when a higher license level may lower your total cost over time.
Every TopoDOT license includes the production tools, learning resources, and expert support needed to help your team turn usage into measurable operational value.

Support
Expert training and support
Your license includes access to people who understand TopoDOT workflows, production standards, and real project delivery challenges, with white-glove help available when teams need it.
Knowledge
Full resource library
Users can lean on a wiki-style knowledge base, documentation, workflow guidance, and reference material for day-to-day production questions.
Learning

Ongoing improvements, new tools, and workflow refinements help your team keep gaining value from the platform after the initial rollout.
More detail on how the license, usage metric, and annual maintenance model work.
TopoDOT is primarily a desktop application that runs inside Bentley MicroStation. It is built for production workflows on workstations rather than as a browser-based SaaS application.
Yes. TopoDOT runs on top of Bentley MicroStation and requires a compatible MicroStation environment.
Our pricing is per workstation. Your company purchases one organization-level license. TopoDOT can be used across your workstations, and annual maintenance is based on tracked user-days rather than named users or fixed seats.
No. The license level is a one-time company-level software purchase. Ongoing annual invoices are for maintenance based on actual usage and the user-day rate associated with your license level.
A user-day is one workstation using TopoDOT on one calendar day. For example, five workstations using TopoDOT for twenty active days equals one hundred user-days.
Your annual usage cost changes with your actual production volume. If your team uses TopoDOT more, your invoice increases at the same user-day rate for your license. If your team uses it less, annual cost decreases accordingly.
In practice, higher-than-expected usage simply means additional user-days are billed at your license's user-day rate. The model follows tracked usage rather than forcing you to add or remove seats.
Choose based on expected production volume. Enterprise 300 keeps the upfront cost lowest for lighter usage, Enterprise 500 balances upfront cost and rate, and Enterprise 1000 provides the lowest user-day rate for heavier usage.
Maintenance keeps your team current and supported. It includes TopoDOT software updates, technical support, web-based onboarding training, TopoDOT University access, and product resources or documentation.
Why usage-based billing?
Point cloud production demand changes by project. User-day pricing lets annual cost follow the amount of TopoDOT production work your team actually performs.
What license to choose?
Use the calculator for a first pass. If your usage pattern is uneven, seasonal, or hard to estimate, the TopoDOT team can help validate the right level.
If you are unsure how to estimate usage, our team can walk through your expected production volume and help identify the most cost-effective license level.
